Moth Prospects...
... August sometimes is a bit slow for moths in the Westwood area, then picks up a bit with he fall moths. But I do see them every night on my way home from work. I have been leaving the porch light off, so I can focus on other bug types. I do not recollect hearing about 'flashing lights' in the Westwood area; I'll have to ask around about that. Hope your bugging goes well!

Ahhhh! the 4 way stop!
That would probably be the Hwy 89 and Hwy 299 junction near Burney Falls, about 20 miles north of the hwy 44 turnoff to Susanville. Westwood is about 21 miles west of Susanville on Hwy 36. My wife & I travel that route to Roseburg occasionally.
