Fly on mushroom 0882 - Cynomya cadaverina

Fly on mushroom 0882 - Cynomya cadaverina
Great Falls, Virginia, USA
October 26, 2004
These flies were clustered on a group of rotting mushrooms growing on a mulch bed in my backyard. Is this a blowfly? I have posterior and dorsal views as well if that would help in the ID.

Moved from Blow Flies.

Blowfly, yes
Looks like the genus Calliphora. If I can be more specific I'll get back to you.

Not Cynomyopsis?
I was thinking this looks more like Cynomyopsis cadaverina. The relatively bright blue abdomen, and lack of orange markings on the thorax would seem to rule out Calliphora. BUT, I am really just learning the flies, so I only throw out this possibility to learn more myself.
