Explanation of Names
Author: Smith, 1853.
Numbers
Nearctica lists seven species of Augochlorella including A. striata, which is now considered as a synonym and not as a separate species.
Size
Female: 5.5mm; male 5 mm.
Range
Northern Mexico to Colorado, Minnesota and the New England states, south to Florida.
Season
May to October.
