Wolf spider? - Hogna helluo

Wolf spider? - Hogna helluo
Great Falls, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
October 12, 2006
Size: Body is about 2 cm long
I found this wolf spider in my house. I put it in the freezer for a minute to slow it down, but then got distracted by my kids. Sadly, it didn't survive the 20 minutes it ended up spending in the freezer. :(

It DID make photographing it much easier, at least.

I'm fairly certain this is a wolf spider, but don't know the species. I will also post a full body shot and a picture of the underside.
