Both the raptorial forelegs are somewhat outstretched here. Note how the inner side of the pro-femur is nearly pure black, with teeth along the lower edge...whlie the outer side is tawny with dark brown mottling. Also, while the prothorax is somewhat elongate in Plega...it is nearly so much so here as it is in the subfamily Mantispinae
