Moved again--OOPS/ID comments
Moved from Prionosoma. (Sorry, messed up the first move.)

Here I believe you can see a character given by Slater (1):
Labium (segmented sheath covering stylets--the beak-like mouthpart) is short, not reaching the middle legs.

Moved
Moved from Stink Bugs.

Prionosoma?
Could it be a species of Prionosoma, such as P. podopioides? I've never actually seen one, but its supposed to heavily pubescent, which this Pentatomid definitely is.

stink bug
i would certainly say this could be called heavily pubescent, but again, i really do not know anything about this family, you could be right on with Prionosoma... in any case, thank you for the information Brad.

Yes, Prionosoma podopioides
Yes, I can see characters for this genus described in Slater (1), and there is only one North American species. References, etc. to be added to guide page.

P. podopioides
thank you again Patrick.
