Size: small, about 1/3 inch
I found this clinging to a rock about a foot above a fairly swift, rocky stream. I couldn't get closer and am not sure whether is has lost its head or not. It doesn't appear to be the exuvia of a dragonfly. ... perhaps some other insect that has an aquatic larva
