Sphagnum Ground Cricket - Neonemobius palustris - male

Sphagnum Ground Cricket - Neonemobius palustris - Male
Lake Shetek State Park, Murray County, Minnesota, USA
September 18, 2006
Size: 9mm
Caught this guy in a brush sweep. Neonemobius palustris, the Sphagnum Ground Cricket. Determined using the "Singing Insects of North America" page, due to the uneven metatibial spurs, and N. palustris is the only one occuring in Minnesota.
