This impressive Ichneumon was photographed by the mayor of Annapolis and shared with our local community. We shared some basic information about Ichneumon wasps, but would love to lock in the ID and establish the record to species. Thanks in advance for your time!

The infuscation along the basal vein seems to be lacking, so I am placing it as greenei for that reason and also because the unsual metasomal color pattern is like that in this photo from Virginia:
