Little fly - Ablabesmyia - female

Little fly - Ablabesmyia - Female
Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, USA
October 17, 2006
Size: ~ 2 mm
Another tiny fly that swarms around my shop light at night. This one is about 2 mm long.

ID
The little brown spotted midges with three brown stripes on the tibiae are Ablabesmyia. Unfortunately the key to species does not include females(1) so genus is the best I can do. (I probably couldn't give species for a male either, but for females you can't even try.)

Subgenus
Species is still out of reach, but subgenus is probably Ablabesmyia (Ablabesmyia), if I interpret the wing spots correctly.
