I don't think she's faded
She's just cold, a female Canada Darner

This bug is very faded and hence an ID might not be possible. But given location and time of year it might be a Shadow Darner, Aeshna umbrosa. The shape is right with the constricted abdomen at S2. See one of my older photos at http://www.rlephoto.com/odes/shadow_darner01.htm
