Dragonfly on the Dunes - Erythrodiplax berenice

Dragonfly on the Dunes - Erythrodiplax berenice
North Peninsula State Park, Volusia County, Florida, USA
September 8, 2013
At North Peninsula State Park (northern Volusia county, on the Atlantic coast of central Florida), I've been seeing a *ton* of dragonflies on the dunes and on the beach itself. I haven't been able to snag a clear picture of the dragonflies on the beach itself, but I did manage to photograph a few on the dunes between A1A and the ocean front. These photos were taken on the primary dune ridge next to the Atlantic. I'm not sure if there are more coastal-specific species, or if the mainland mainstays simply range to the dunes and the beaches of Florida. Two images will be uploaded for this organism. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
