Large green worm? - Eumorpha pandorus

Large green worm? - Eumorpha pandorus
Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, USA
September 9, 2013
Size: 5-6 inches in length
Found this on my doorstep. Tried to look it up on websites but it wasn't identified by any caterpillar websites. It might be a larvae for another beetle but I'm unsure. No hair just the district white spots on its side and back end.

Wow!
What a beautiful moth! I hope I can see it when it transforms! I'm glad I didn't step on it on my way out. Thank you for helping me out
