Hobo Spider? - Tegenaria - female

Hobo Spider? - Tegenaria - Female
Thompson Falls, Sanders County, Montana, USA
September 13, 2006
Found this large spider in the garage after dark. It looks very similar to .

Moved
Moved from Funnel-Web Spiders.

Overall...
it appears to be a Hobo. The proof would be in the details, the eye pattern (almost straight rows, relatively close set) is distinctive for the genus (Tegenaria). The pattern of the sternum helps in splitting the species. The epigynum of T. agrestis is the most telling feature, a good macro shot will usually be sufficient.
