First macro subject - Microcentrum retinerve - Male
Baltimore, Maryland, USA
October 30, 2004
Katydid sunbathing on south-facing window on warm late October day.

Microcentrum sp.
Looks to be of genus Microcentrum.

Looks to be a male, also. Update: Only M. retinerve has (in males only) the brown area between the stridulatory file and the juncture of the wings with the pronotum (top of thorax), just visible here.
