Found this wasp yesterday & again today (assuming it's the same individual). Seemed to be sleeping (?) in this position on a branch,same as when I saw it yesterday

No, it flew away a bit later.
No, it flew away a bit later...Just like the one I saw yesterday...I think it was just a case of cooler temps slowing down their metabolism...Someone suggested a long horned bee on a forum, but it looks different than the Long Horned Bee I submitted an image of recently...I'm thinking it's possibly a Scolia nobilitata
