No clue..but would like to feed it
Incidental in sweeping.
Collected Sept 20, 2013. First photo Sept 21, 2013, AM just after it passed some honeydew. Recently molted photo Sept 21, 2013 PM.

This sure looks close.
I don't think there were any oaks in the immediate vicinity of this hill prairie. (Lots of cedars though.)
Yesterday I gave it a little piece of mountain mint, Pycnanthemum sp., and it's been on that for a day, still alive, but I'll add some oak.

Personally
I found adult on black locust and evening primrose before. So, maybe it's not that picky. Good luck on raising!

 
Mountain mint
I added oak 9-22-13 but it is still in the same place on the mountain mint which was added 9-22-13. I thought maybe it was dead so just gave it a nudge and it moved. It must be getting some nutrients otherwise it certainly wouldn't still be alive for 4 days. But, I don't know.
