Moved
Moved from Mealworm beetles.

Tenebrio sp.
This is a species of Tenebrio (family Tenebrionidae), better known in the larval state as "mealworms." The purplish color may indicate this is a recently-emerged adult that has hardened, but has yet to achieve full pigmentation.
