Rough Stink Bug - Brochymena

Rough Stink Bug - Brochymena
Thompson Falls, Sanders County, Montana, USA
October 8, 2006
Size: around 15-20 mm
Brochymena quadripustula, I think. ID based on this site.

from Donald Thomas:
"B. sulcata is the common western species. B. quadripustulata is the common eastern species. The male genitalia are distinctive. I have seen large series of both species from northern New Mexico. Montana specimen is most likely sulcata but I hate to make the call without the specimen."

Moved from Brochymena quadripustulata.
