Hmmm...
T. canicularis?....I would think so.
The costal margin is "bent" (as often used to id linnei) but not beyond the variation also seen in some canicularis.
Tibicen canicularis is certainly more common and widespread across New England than is linnei, so with that said, I tend to agree.
I know G. Bunker has a lot of experience with cicadas in New England and would certainly better be able to address details regarding the species and distributions.
