I'll try to rear this and see what it turns into. Any ideas on what it would eat?

Yup
No doubt whatever you found it in was what it would eat, probably a log or branch of some kind of wood. Some of the longhorns eat a wide variety of woods while some are restricted in diet to one or two species.

Thanks Jim
I collected some of the bark it was under. Now I'll have to get a piece of the wood for it.
