Giant Wasp ? - Megarhyssa macrurus - Female

I came home from work and saw this wasp on my garage door. Not including the tail, I would say it was 3-4 inches in length.

Giant Ichneumon
in the genus Megarhyssa. From the color pattern of the body and the wings we would say M. macrurus
