Fantastic!
In the enlargement you can actually see the droplet that the ant is seeping. You may want to submit a drastically cropped image that show that and the details of the waxy coating of these bugs.

The reason for the request from Beatriz
is that, we think, only the contributor, himself, and the editors can click on the image to get an enlargement. The thousands of other BugGuide visitors cannot generate an enlargement. So if you crop your copy of this image and save it under a new name, you can return to this image in the guide and click on Add an image and link the closeup to this one. The editors can crop and post a second image with the closeup, but we are unable to link them since the software knows we are a different contributor, even if we copy your name into the copyright section. Thanks.

. I have no idea about the Homoptera it's tending. Perhaps some type of scale insect?
