Snakefly female dead - Negha meridionalis - female

Snakefly female dead - Negha meridionalis - Female
Selma, Fresno County, California, USA
March 11, 2013
As I was sneaking up to photograph this snakefly, a jumping spider, Phidippus johnsoni, leaped from behind the cane to grab it. By the time I got this picture, the snakefly was dead.
