It's nice to get a species id, especially on a native species.

Pseudopolydesmus branneri (Bollman)
Because of the reddish ("brick red") color of the paranota, I judge this millipede to be the native species, Pseudopolydesmus branneri (Bollman). It is one of two species of Pseudopolydesmus occurring in the northeastern US & adjacent Canada.
