Araneus cavaticus? - Araneus cavaticus

Araneus cavaticus? - Araneus cavaticus
Barton, Orleans County, Vermont, USA
September 10, 2013
very pale and still active after several killing frosts and cold days in the fifties. Under the eaves on north side of house (the worst side because of mountain, cold and wind). It is just too pale for me to say it is Araneus cavaticus. Thank you.

Moved from ID Request. Yes, I think you have it and the pale color is pretty standard.
