Dictyopterus aurora
is what this appears to be. Compare. Unfortunately, Alask is just outside the bugguide bioregion. Sending to Frass.

We're surprised by this.
Seems there are plenty of images from Alaska in the guide. Even Mike Boone's mapping software identifies those taxon that have images from Alaska. We'll move this to ID Request (even though you have already ID'd it) to see if we can get confirmation on whether Alaskan images are part of BugGuide. Thanks for bringing up this question.
Ooops, Phillip already moved it!

only 3 listed
Three spp. of Lycidae (all Dictyopterus) are shown for Alaska. Don't know off hand how to differentiate.
Don't Frass - I believe we are including,

if you go to data, you'll see Alaska in table and on the map, you'll see "also in Alaska" in the lower corner.

I'm glad to be corrected.
I had read in a post from one of the bugguide stalwarts that Alaska was excluded, and not seeing it on the map, assumed that was correct. Now I see that it *is* included in a non-cartographic manner. I couldn't see why it ought to be excluded and am glad to find that my impression was wrong.

Nice to be included
Thanks for taking the photo out of Frass! I'm glad Alaska is included. It wouldn't have surprised me to be excluded, though. Alaska can't even get a weather forecast on network news.
