Black and Orange Surprise - Harmonia axyridis

Black and Orange Surprise - Harmonia axyridis
Davis, Yolo County, California, USA
November 3, 2006
Size: 1/2 inch
I have no idea what this is, but I'm guessing some sort of larva. Any ideas? Also, I assume it's "going #2," but if it's doing anything more interesting, I'd like to know. Thanks.

Double-branched spines and orange stripe along side
identify this as Harmonia axyridis I think (compare below). Nice shot!

Thanks
Thank you so much for your help!

Likely ladybird beetle larva
but I don't know which one.

Definitely!
