On a flower at night.

Looks like the European Earwig to me -
here in guide. I believe clicking on images to enlarge them only works for editors and the original contributor, by the way. You could crop and post a closer image to show more detail, though.

I cropped the photo so you can see the detail. It does look like the European earwig. Looks to me like it is a female. What do you think?

 
It is possible
to crop this image even more. If not this time, keep it in mind for the future; the more detail you show, the better. Look at some other images and you'll see what I mean. I treat my images quite differently when I show them in Bugguide than when I show them elsewhere.

 
I agree
the forceps on the male are more elaborate.
