Got groundhogs?
Do you have groundhogs (woodchucks) in the area? Larvae have only been recorded from groundhog burrows. They may breed in other rodent burrows.

We have a large groundhog whose burrow is beneath our house.

Eutrichota female
Probably a female Eutrichota. Might be identifiable to species in your area.
