Wet Beaver Canyon Caterpillar - Orgyia
45 Miles South of Flagstaff, AZ, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA

Hiking in the Wet Beaver Canyon Wilderness in Yavapai County, AZ, my friend Darrell took this photo of this caterpillar.

This is a riparian area 45 miles south of Flagstaff, AZ. Elevation is 3,800 feet.

Moved from Definite Tussock Moth. Changed our minds. Sides are very grey and this is a long way from the range of the other images on BugGuide. Needs more research!
