micro-fly - Sepsis
Eastern, Oklahoma, USA

This little fly was in constant motion. The most interesting thing was that its halteres were always in motion and the club-like tips were white.
Size about 3mm.

Black Scavenger Fly
I would like to add this to the guide as it is a family that is not represented.
I know how to add when there are already other members of the family there but do not know how to add a family.
Thanks.

You can't do this unless you have editing powers
so I will make a family page for you and move this to it.

Sepsis sp.
Thanks Hannah.
I have one more picture of it which I will post.

Black Scavenger Fly?
I found a close match at Cedar Creek.
Family: Sepsidae, Sepsis sp.
Can Paul confirm?

At your request:
Confirmed! ;-)
