Hello again Nancy it turns out that i do have an ok head shot of the same specimen. The dark stuff on the leaf next to it is crushed blueberry.

Moving these to O. nigricornis
I wonder if the notch at the upper-outer edges of the wings might also be a clue. I'll post some photos of singing O. quadripunctatus later in order to make some comparisons.
