Size: 6 mm
Found under bark of rotting Water Oak branch. Tarsal formula is 4-4-? (hind tarsi missing). No comparable Colydiid images found here but seems to be this family?

cool... these used to be treated in Colydiidae...
nowadays, Colydiidae are considered close to tenebs, while these guys turned out to be rather closely related to the coccinellid lineage, of all things )))))))
