Brown Widow Eggs In Wrightsville Beach NC? - Latrodectus geometricus

Brown Widow Eggs In Wrightsville Beach NC? - Latrodectus geometricus
Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County, North Carolina, USA
November 21, 2013
I killed a bunch of "blonde widows" this summer and didn't think much about it. We all looked at them and saw the violin but the spider was brown. None of my neighbors or friends had ever seen them. I was cleaning my porch and I found these eggs...googled them and found brown widow. Someone told me you didn't have a submission from NC. The spiders are gone but the egg sacs are EVERYWHERE.

Thanks--NC is now on the map!

Well that's pretty cool!
