Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010) listed two species of the genus Epitausa in America north of Mexico. (1)
Remarks
Brou (2007) stated "Apparently, the first record of this species in the United States was made by Andre Blanchard(2) (1973)(3) who captured one male in Welder Wildlife Refuge, San Patricio County, near Sinton, Texas on November 14, 1968."
