This adult springtail has broken antennae that look like they're starting to grow back.

Hi Tom. Indeed, the specimen is quite handicapped... The antennae will recover bit by bit with each moult.
The dark posterior segmental margins are clearly visible in the anterior part of its body, but the are not visible at posterior segments.
