Could this be a species of velvet mite?

Edit:
After a bit more research, these appear to be in the family Anystidae. Specifically anystis baccarum. I don't see a guide page for them. Please confirm this before creating a guide page.

Anystis baccarum - Whirligig Mite
Compare. Looks pretty close, Perry. I'll move it. This is a heavily researched species that is an element in orchard pest control programs.
