Jade Stinkbug - Banasa euchlora

Jade Stinkbug - Banasa euchlora
Parkwood, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
November 19, 2006
Size: 8 mm
Found inside my house--it had actually crawled into a fluorescent light fixture. This is where I've seen this species previously--inside my house in the winter. I've yet to encounter it outside, though there are several Eastern Redcedar trees, its hostplant, nearby. I did take a few photos of the bug posed on Redcedar needles, and it does blend in quite well.
Size measured as just over 8 mm, which is why I'm posting the image--we did not have a size on this species previously, that I could find--I added this to the guide page.
