"The live photo shows the pale blue color on the pronotum and scutellum which is dull yellow on our faded museum specimens."

indeed, live photos of Miridae, as well as thousands of other soft-boded arthropods, or those with characteristic coloration involving pale and/or bright pigments are precious: the researchers who deal with preserved specimens often have no idea what the natural colors of this or that bug look like, unless they've seen it in the field
