Gold nymph

Gold nymph
Deane, Letcher County, Kentucky, USA
January 2, 2013
Size: 2mm
Found this on a tiny weed leaf in my flower bed. After taking pictures I touched it and it fell off the leaf. I thought it was dead it is very hard to the touch. Today I opened the container and to my surprise it was hanging upside down on the lid.

Looks like an aphid "mummy"

Keep watching it to see if a Braconid wasp emerges.
