then open it's wings and left

Has anyone realized that these guys mimic lightning bugs? If you look at the butt end as if it were a head, you can see a firefly. I wonder if this is for defense

Probably
Lampyridae beetles contain cantharin, which is a pretty potent poison. Alliteration aside, that would probably explain any mimicry
