Epuraea rufa? - Epuraea rufa - male

Epuraea rufa? - Epuraea rufa - Male
Mission, Johnson County, Kansas, USA
June 29, 2008
Came to a blacklight in a 1950s suburban neighborhood. Is this another rufa?

i do believe so; nice shot --and, surprisingly, another male
[you can see the dilated mesotibial apex]
apparently, very common at lights in residential areas; i see it often around here in NJ

Moved from Sap-feeding Beetles.
