C. senilis
, but they are often confused with other species in CA. Thanks for adding a pic of a species that is new for the guide!

Wow, these tigers look so muc
Wow, these tigers look so much alike in some cases. Thanks for the ID help and correction. Was the scalloping a give away? Would another picture of anonther angle be helpful? I can take more.

difficult to tell from tranq
Yeah, they can be really hard to tell apart! In this case, there are several subtle differences between senilis and tranquebarica: the shape of the middle band (it bends up stronger at the knee... and the middle band extends further down to the apex), the shape of the humeral lunule (not as oblique as tranq), and the general body shape is different.
It was a fine picture... thanks again for adding a new species to the guide.
