Small Dune Beetle - Edrotes arens
Sand Dunes area west of Glamis, Imperial County, California, USA
May 16, 1973
Size: Body length 6.5mm
I caught this little beetle about two miles west of Glamis along Highway 78 within the sand dunes area; over 40 years ago!
Closest match seems to be Edrotes arens based on this image:
