Observer as unknown, though maybe a Cordyceps, though- this group seems to have a lot of room for work.

I have FOUR specimens from ONE TINY Tillandsia! That is pretty bizarre in and of itself. Best, K.

Just yesterday, I watched "mind control fungus' affecting Zombie Ants on National Geographic's Weirdest series.

...looks like a variety of Cordyceps. I cannot tell you more.

 
Ophiocordyceps is the proper genus name now it seems,
but I also would LOVE TO HAVE our ANT people help me ID the ant. I may have a new host. THANK YOU!!!

Best I can do is possibly Camponotus sp. based on the curved alitrunk. Maybe James can do better.
