Tiny wingless wasp? - Trimorus - female

Tiny wingless wasp? - Trimorus - Female
Windham, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, USA
December 2, 2006
Size: about 1.1 mm
Thinking it might be a strangely-shaped sp*rintail because it jumped, I dropped it onto the water surface with the spri*ngtails I was collecting. (B*eetles, etc. went into a separate container.) During my photo shoot I saw that this was no s*pringtail because it didn't have a great deal of bouyancy.

Here the critter is grooming itself, still partially in the water, at the tip of a small watercolor brush I use in handling tiny beet*les. (Asterisks are to prevent Bugguide searches from showing this image in searches on those words.)
