Ladybird larvae

Ladybird larvae
Rodman Campground near Rodman Reservoir, Putnam County, Florida, USA
February 17, 2008
This was crawling around on the inside of a stainless steel coffee cup in our campsite. A friend ID'd it as a ladybird larvae. I was curious if anyone could narrow it down any?

not sure but working on it
The pattern doesn't match anything I know of, but obviously I don't know every lady beetle larve in all its instars in all of North America. It's definitely subfamily Coccinellinae, and I've ruled a number of genera out, but I can't place it yet. I'll keep researching and see what I can find, because I'm very intrigued!
