The Bright Green Forman-Pillar - Automeris io

Size: About 2-3 inches
These bad boys are eating the buh-hoozies out of my sabal palm. They seemed to have slowed down but I wanted to know if I should be concerned about them spreading and decimating the palm. I dont mind them doing a little grazing (or munching as the case may be) but I dont want any problems. Please advise.

Since they max out at 7 cm (
according to our guide page, they won't be around to damage your plants much longer.

Those are Io Moths, Automeris
Those are Io Moths, Automeris io. Be careful of the spines, because they sting...
