Ophraella - Ophraella sexvittata

Ophraella - Ophraella sexvittata
Warren County, North Carolina, USA
October 23, 2013
I can't tell the difference between O. confecta and O. sexvittata. It looks like they both occur in NC. Can you determine species from these photos ? Thanks, Paul

S.M. Clark says,
"This specimen most closely resembles Ophraella sexvittata. However, the differences separating O. sexvittata from O. conferta [note spelling] are not absolutely consistent. Future research may eventually prove that these to taxa are merely subspecies of a widely distributed single species."
